    Roadside Flowers

We just got back from two days in Moncton, NB.  The rain began about an hour into the drive but even the wet weather could not hide the beauty of the wildflowers that grow along the roadside.

The lupines are out in full bloom. Of course in is not wise for either passenger or driver to take their eyes off the highway for any length of time especially where there are moose warning signs. We did not see any moose this time but on our last trip, both on the way there  and back again, we saw moose. At one point there were two young ones, but still big enough to do damage, crossing the highway about 150 yards in front of us.

We slowed down to make sure they got across but they took their own sweet time to do so.
