Now you may not consider the caterpillar a garden friend, in fact, you may find some of them frightening to look at but when you consider that what may now be an ugly little or not so little beastie, can turn into a beautiful Monarch, then perhaps you can give the crawlies another chance.

If you want to attract butterflies to your garden and have them make it their home then you have to learn to love them in their pre-butterfly stage.
