SAUK CITY, Wis., Sept. 21, 2007 - FISKARS, a leading developer
of easy to use garden tools and accessories, today announced the ‘Best Fall
Harvest Garden Photo’ contest hosted by NeighborhoodCrossing.com, a
neighborhood-oriented social networking site, to reward its most loyal and
enthusiastic gardeners and to inspire new gardeners of all ages.

of neighborhoods interested in connecting and establishing relationships within
their community.  Its growing neighborhood of participants meet online to
share information about interests and hobbies, including: blog entries, emails,

Beginners to expert gardeners are encouraged to participate in
the ‘Best Fall Harvest Garden’ photo contest and can register for the contest
by joining the Neighborhood Crossing social network at www.NeighborhoodCrossing.com.
During the promotion period, which began on September 15, 2007 and will run
through November 15, 2007, gardeners can login at www.NeighborhoodCrossing.com
to upload their garden photographs.

 

At the end of each week, a panel of judges will select the
top entry for that week beginning on September 22, 2007 and on each Saturday
during the promotion period.  NeighborhoodCrossing.com community members
can vote for their favorite garden photo entry for the previous week. One
winner per week will be named based on the photograph receiving the highest
number of votes.

 

Each weekly winner will receive a FISKARS PowerGear hand
pruner.  The Grand Prize winner will receive a Fiskar’s Gardening Tool
Gift Pack valued at $500.  The Second Place winner will receive a
Gardening Tool Gift Pack valued at $200, and the Third place winner will
receive a Fiskar’s Gardening Tool Gift Pack valued at $100.
