    Project Support Beauty In Nature

PsbnzinRecently my mom called me and started ranting at me about global warming, peak oil, and a bunch of other environmental issues. She said, "Something needs to be done! Somebody needs to do something!" I started talking to her about some of the ways I try to live greener. She then said she didn’t think she made a difference as one person.

I beg to disagree. If each person, acting as individuals, does the best they can to live greener, that would make a major impact. Sarcastic Mom agrees with me, and has started something awesome, Project Support Beauty In Nature. I’ll let her tell you about it:

So many of you are awesome bloggers, and I would LOVE to see your
answer to this challenge in my comments section, and then your
follow-up post about your own project of kindness and love, on your
site.  Is two weeks enough time for everyone to come up with something,
complete the task, and then document it on their website?

Or maybe you live a very green lifestyle, and you’d love to share
your advice and opinions with others, in the hopes that something you
do hasn’t yet occurred to someone else, and they will adopt a change
for the better when they read your post.  Educating others is a great
way to help – and with your own website you can do just that!

This is a call to action -let’s name it Project Support Beauty in Nature.

    [...]

On February 11th, I will publish my post about The
Carroll Community Cleanup (gotta love the alliteration!).  I will put a
“Mr. Linky” on that post – which means that when you publish YOUR
“Support Beauty in Nature” post that day (Feb 11), you can hop over
here and leave your link on my post for everyone else to see.  Then you
can visit the posts of other Beautifiers and we can all learn a little,
    together.

So, here’s what I’m going to do. My neighborhood has a bad trash problem. I’m going to get out and walk through the neighborhood and pick up trash. I’ll even sort it for recycling because I’m a recycling kinda gal. I’ll write a post about it on February 11th, so stay tuned!

What can you do to support Project Support Beauty In Nature?
