While not exactly garden related, it is about growing your own food, perhaps. I know, it’s a stretch, but I’m so impressed with Stephanie’s poultry pursuits, I just had to write about it here.

She’s got baby chicks! I am terribly impressed with people who grow their own chickens- I have been scared of chickens ever since I was a little girl. Her pictures are so cute, though, I don’t think I might be as scared as I once was, I don’t know. There is no city ordinance where I live against having poultry, should I grow my own?

Oh, and another way it’s related to gardening- I heard chicken poo is great for your compost pile.
