My dad lives and dies by the Farmer’s Almanac. I don’t know if it’s because he’s (technically) an old farmer, or if it’s because it’s a really good publication or what. I’ve perused a few of them in my lifetime but I’ve never bought one since my dad is always sure to have one I can steal borrow from him. But since he’s been sick, I’m not sure if he’s bought one or not, and I’m also loathe to steal borrow from a sick man, so I bought my own today.

I’ve only had a couple of seconds to browse through it, but it looks interesting. We’ll see how it all works out as far as planting.
