My pal Heather has a quagmire in her front yard. It seems some heavy vehicle parked in her yard and caused her water lines to break. The city? Slow to fix this, since it’s not apparently causing anyone to not have water or anything.

But she has hope! The city came out and spray painted the street with the word "locate". Does this mean her water pipes will be fixed? One can only hope.

What Heather and I are both wondering is this: what’s it going to take to fix this once the city comes and repairs the pipes? Anybody have any good solutions?
