Our own dear Kathy T from Shak & Jill wrote a little throwaway post over at This Is La Vergne that got a lot of unexpected attention. She didn’t know what to write about, so she tossed off a little post about the crane flies that have been everywhere (except my house, oddly) here in LaVergne, TN.

What happens? Over 20 comments (including my own commentary about not killing honey bees) and now, the local news is going to do a story about the crane flies on the 5 o’clock news. Talk about a slow news day!
