I’m seriously considering getting a live Christmas tree that I can plant in my yard after Christmas is over this year. I hear my church will be selling them, and I’m thinking this might be the way to go.

My entire adult life I have had fake Christmas trees because I always thought having a cut Christmas tree was awfully wasteful. When I was younger, my parents occasionally bought live Christmas trees that you can plant later, but until this year, I never really thought about that.

But I was looking at my yard and my neighbors’ yards and I got to thinking about how nice a pine tree might look. So this year, I’m thinking we might go that route. Well, it’ll save some time and arguments about putting the tree together, eh?
