I always feel bad for the plants that get confused when we have a warm spell in January and start sprouting up. I want to tell them, "No, little plants, it's not time yet!" Alas, I don't have the ability to speak plant. Tonight, we're supposed to have ice and tomorrow, snow. Poor little sprouts.

Don't worry, Ivy. They're daffodils. A little ice and snow won't stop them. That's why I planted them out in the yard. They'll sprout, bloom, and die off long before the weather gets warm enough to make my grass grow.
I hope!
